Never have had a issue with this chicken shack. Chicken it's always fully cooked and sides are always good. I have started to get the butter on the side st any of the chicken shacks for the potatoes though because it's always to much butter. I like the chicken bites alot . There BBQ sauce is very good
We had a 12 piece dark meat chicken with potatoes and coleslaw for takeout. We thought the chicken was very good, cooked well and crispy. Potatoes were golden brown and crispy and buttery. Coleslaw was fresh with a great sauce. Not vinegar tasting like some other kinds. We will go back and try other menu items too. Service was quick but there were no other patrons.
Great little takeout or to-go spot for fried (Broasted) chicken and seafood. My family and I usually get the 12 piece tub with two large sides. It'll set you back about $25 and is enough to feed our family of four. The chicken is always juicy and light and crispy. I know a lot of people highly recommend their seafood platter, and it looks great, but it is so hard for us to pass up on the chicken! SIDES: Our #1 fave side from Chicken Shack is the SLAW. It is the BOMB. It's just a little sweet, and finely chopped. The slaw is the perfect compliment to the chicken. We also love the shack potatoes and the fresh corn. They typically have good deals listed on their site or mail flyer, but you can easily feed a family for under $30.
Came here for a quickie dinner to order for take out and wow was I impressed. This is a 50 year plus staple here in Michigan. Ordered a 5 pc. Chicken tenders dinner. The chicken was cooked to order very fresh to go along with onion rings. The chicken to me was super delicious. Lightly fried to me. From the taste it didn't feel heavy at all. Very tender and juicy as well. Dipped them in their signature bbq and hot sauces. Super good. Their onion rings weren't heavily fried as well. It also came with a bread roll that is good and has a buttery taste. Absolutely delicious meal and it will satisfy you if you don't feel like cooking and want something good to eat
